Toyota has announced that they are recalling over 1 million cars due to airbag issues in the front seat. There is a sensor glitch in those cars, which include the 2020-2021 Toyota Camry and Rav4 and the 2020-2021 Lexus ES350 and RX350, that can make the airbag fail to deploy in the case of an accident. This sensor is located in the front passenger seat and some sensors may be dysfunctional due to manufacturing issues. In February 2024, Toyota will notify owners of these models to have them to come to the dealership and have their sensors checked for any issue.
