Mount Marapi in Indonesia erupted on Sunday, killing eleven people and stranding dozens of climbers. About 70 people began the ascent up the volcano on Saturday, but they were stuck when it showed signs of eruption. Eleven climbers were killed and twelve more are still missing, and the community is now recovering from the disaster. They are also trying to remove the thick blanket of ash that has covered the area after the volcano spewed hot rock and ash over 9,800 feet in the air.
