After landing on the moon on August 23, India's Pragyan rover aboard the Chandrayaan-3 space rocket has now completed its mission and is safely parked on the lunar surface. The mission launched on July 14, and has since done huge research on the moon's south pole. Scientists are now analyzing the data to see if there are any signs of frozen water, and the rover is now in sleep mode after transmitting its findings to the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). The mission could only last for 14 days because that is how long one lunar day is, and the temperatures at lunar night can go below -184˚F (-120˚C). The electronics onboard Pragyan cannot withstand those temperatures, so the rover may never wake up again because of electronic failure due to the extreme cold.
