Movies Released: June 2023 Edition

We all love movies, all kinds of them. Horror, adventure, cartoons, you name it. Today, we will dive into the movies released throughout June. Let’s get started.


1. Spider Man: Across the Spider-Verse

This sequel to adventure story Spider Man: Into the Spider-Verse follows Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) as he sets out to defeat the supervillain “the Spot” from destroying the multiverse of Spider-people.


2. The Boogeyman

This horror movie follows Sadie Harper (Sophia Thatcher) and her little sister Sawyer (Vivien Lyra Blair) as they deal with their mother’s death, while living with a monster that feasts on their suffering.


3. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

This 7th movie in the adventure film series Transformers follows Noah Diaz (Anthony Ramos) as he tries to stop a giant space beast from eating the Earth.


4. The Flash

This Marvel movie follows Barry Allen, also known as the Flash (Ezra Miller), when he is trapped in another dimension and defeats a supervillain there.


5. Elemental

This Disney-Pixar movie takes place in Element City, a place where people take the shape of the elements. There, fire girl Ember Lumen (Leah Lewis) and water boy Wade Ripple (Mamoudou Athie) explore the world and learn a few things about themselves in the process.


6. No Hard Feelings

This realistic fictional movie follows a young woman named Maddie (Jennifer Lawrence), who agrees to “date” her employees’ son, Percy (Andrew Barth Feldman), in exchange for a Buick Regal, after her original car gets repossessed.


7. Asteroid City

This rom-com follows a group of students and parents participating in a Junior Stargazing Club when world-changing events disrupt the event.


8. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

This fifth and final installment in the Indiana Jones film series follows Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) and his goddaughter Helena Shaw (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) as they search for a dial that can change the course of history.


9. Adipurush

This Hindi movie follows Hindu mythological figure Raghav (Prabhas) as he rescues his wife, Janaki (Kriti Sanon), from the demon Lankesh (Saif Ali Khan).
