Anyway, now it has reached a crisis point again! Here’s what's happening. Similar to World War II, Russia’s leader Vladimir Putin is trying to control the wheat area in Ukraine due to the recent war there. If you haven’t already read the article on the Russo-Ukrainian War, I suggest you do, so that you can understand this article better. It is in our 'World News' section.

During World War II, Russia (the Soviet Union at the time) and its leader Joseph Stalin tried to occupy the wheat fields in Ukraine, but did not let them ship out any wheat so that Russia/the Soviet Union could take all of the money and sell it for extra high prices. This caused a massive famine in the countries surrounding Ukraine because Stalin had cut off their wheat supply and was selling their last resort of wheat at extremely high prices. Adolf Hitler, Germany’s leader tried to take that area as well, but he couldn't because the Soviet Union was occupying it. Now Putin is trying to take over Ukraine's wheat fields like Stalin had, which could result in a major famine again!
