It became a tropical storm in the Atlantic a few days ago before making landfall in North Carolina, but it hasn't done too much damage. Ophelia brought strong winds of 70 mph and heavy rain, causing about 30,000 power outages on the East Coast, but it hasn't done much more than that. However, it drenched North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware, and it expected to deliver some more heavy rain to New England later this week.
