Multiple typhoons are heading toward the likes of many Asian countries, and could deliver heavy rain and strong winds in the coming days. A weak hurricane has formed in the Bay of Bengal, currently named Hurricane Four, which is expected to hit Bangladesh and India in a few days. The hurricane just formed on Monday morning, and is already dumping rain over western Myanmar and eastern India- especially the state of Odisha and some of Chhattisgarh. The storm currently has sustained winds of about 45 mph, and is expected to stay at that strength before hitting Bangladesh and eventually the states of West Bengal and Jharkhand in India. Kolkata is going to take the brunt of the hit, as it is directly in the hurricane's path. Meanwhile, Typhoon Khanun has been strengthening in the West Pacific after forming on Thursday, and has sustained winds of over 140 mph. The storm is now taking aim at Japan's Okinawa prefecture, which is right in the path of the destructive storm. Khanun will smash into Okinawa later today, with damaging winds, storm surge, and heavy rain. Flooding is a huge concern, but the winds will also be a problem. Then, the typhoon will brush past northern Taiwan and eastern China, turn back, and take aim at Japan's southern islands- but the typhoon will be much weaker. Thankfully, China will not take too much of a hit, after the monster Typhoon Doksuri smashed into China's Fujian province with winds of 145 mph and heavy rain. Floods are still plaguing the area as rain continues, but the winds have finally let up. However, this time Japan will take a hit, and Khanun will definitely deliver some serious damage to Okinawa.
